Earlier this year the Arena Football League (AFL) announced they would be returning in 2024. Things went dark for a while, but last week the league promised “Big Announcements” would be coming soon.
A week after the tease, the AFL is living up to their promise. Just now on social media the AFL announced the 16 locations that they will be playing come next year.

Here’s a quick rundown of where the announced AFL locations for 2024:
- Austin
- Boise
- California
- Colorado
- Chicago
- Louisiana
- Minnesota
- Ohio
- Oregon
- Orlando
- Philadelphia
- St. Louis
- Tallahasee
- Tennessee
- Washington
- West Texas
As you’ll see from the list, not all locations have associated cities just yet. But, on the AFL’s website there may be some hints to sift through.

We have heard rumors that the Philadelphia Soul, San Jose SaberCats and New Orleans VooDoo would be making a return with the league. Although those have not been 100% confirmed just yet, the AFL’s tease and locations seems to lead us towards that direction.
