After months of speculation that the Arena Football League may be working towards a return, it looks like there may be some confirmation.
Earlier this week all of the existing posts were removed from the AFL social media accounts. Then, today the official accounts have updated their profile picture to the classic AFL logo.

They say where there’s smoke there’s fire. In this instance it’s hard to dispute that the league is working on something.
We expect the news to drop in the near future, along with it many details will surface that will give a clear picture on the league’s future.
The AFL was founded in 1986, but played its first official games in the 1987 season. This made the AFL the third longest-running professional football league in North America after the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL) until they shuttered its doors in 2019.
The AFL may have last hit the field in 2019, but from the looks of it we expect to see a 2024 return. We’ll keep you posted as more news on the re-boot of the Arena Football League surfaces.
