Some arena football fans were quick to point out that that the AFL locations overlapped some of the NAL cities. And it seems that there was more than just suspicion in the air. Shortly after the news dropped the Orlando Predators social team put out a release announcing that the current ownership group was stepping away from the team.

It wasn’t much longer after that the Orlando Business Journal reported that the Predators would be one of the teams that will be returning to the AFL in 2024.

It was expected that we’d see some teams make the jump to the AFL once the locations were revealed, and this seems to be the first to drop. Beyond the Predators, We’ve heard rumors that the Philadelphia Soul, San Jose SaberCats and New Orleans VooDoo would be making a return next year as well.
